​My Research:

I am interested in the evolution of maternal effects, how they are induced, determining when they can be adaptive, and understanding their ecological effects. To explore these issues, I work with the freshwater snail Physa acuta, which exhbit phenotypic plasticity and maternal effects in response to predators.
